Architect: Doland Brubeck, Bassetti Architects Group
The wood used in the altar was the fir joists recycled from the original church floor. The original altar had tile work and we wanted to carry that element over into the new altar. The five tiles in the altar top are stones from the original parish font. The tile in the legs and skirt of the altar table is a handmade gold-leafed mosaic from Italy. The kneeler rails are made of white oak and the shaping is reflective of architectural details in the church.

The primary wood used in this project was white oak with ebony and blood wood accents. We sought to feature design elements that were special to the Sacred Heart community. The brass tiles in the pulpit are from Italy.
